Welcome to South West Jutland, a paradise for golfers.
Enjoy the challenges on the four golf courses in Tønder municipality, situated in a unique environment and contained within a radius of 20 km. The challenges in golf all depend on the design of the golf course and the different kinds of landscape. As a whole, the golf courses in West Jutland are more flat and open and with fewer trees. The flat and open fairways and greens leave them more exposed to the notorious West wind. How difficult a course is depends on the natural terrain – and the holes have for example been placed in accordance with the lakes and streams. The courses have been laid out, so they are equally difficult and fair for both the more and the less experienced golf players.

The 9 hole golf course offers plenty of experiences with the natural environment in a hilly terrain surrounded by large forests. The course is both a challenge and an experience for the skilled and the less skilled golfer.

Tønder Golf Club
The 18 hole golf course is situated in peaceful surroundings in a typical, flat marsh area with many drainage canals and water hazards.
The course can easily be played by the less experienced golfer. The more skilled golfer and the long-range striker will find the course harder, than it seems at first sight. Situated where it is, the course is played with strong influence from the prevailing West wind.
Most of the holes lie in relatively open land. However, holes 11-14 must be considered forest holes. The flat landscape means the course is not strenuous, and it is suitable for the walking-impaired
Brundtland Golf & Hotel This is an 18 hole course which is well kept and set in beautiful scenery, and characterised by relatively narrow fairways and many lakes surrounding the fast, undulating greens. The course, which is situated in an open landscape with old and new planting, varies a good deal and there are many strategically well placed bunkers. The course is also characterised by many small hills according to the Scottish model. The 9 hole course is a park course in a very pleasant terrain. This is ideal for new golfers, but also a challenge for the more skilled players.
